Ronnie L. Rue

Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie L. Rue, 61, of Louisiana, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27th at the Collier Funeral Home, Louisiana, Missouri. Mr. Robert Rue and Mr. Russell Rue will officiate. Burial will be at the Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday, April 26th at the funeral home. Mr. Rue passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2013 in Louisiana, Missouri. He was born on August 17, 1951 in Louisiana, Missouri to Mike Russell Rue and Juanita Shade Rue. He married the love of his life, Kimberly Harrison on July 31, 2004 in Louisiana, Missouri and she survives. He is also survived by 3 sons, Ryan Rue (Sasha) of Bowling Green, Missouri, Tannor Rue and Trevor Harrison of the home, a daughter, Angie Henderson (Johnny) of Clarksville, Missouri, 4 Grandchildren, Devin Rue and Jacob Rue of Bowling Green, Missouri, Stephen Henderson and Joey Henderson of Clarksville, Missouri, 3 brothers, Robert Rue and Raymond Rue of Louisiana, Missouri, and Russell Rue of Buckner, Missouri, 5 sisters, Betty Robertson and Ruth Snyder of Barry, Illinois, Kay Love, Fay Smith, and Renie Smith of Louisiana, Missouri, and his father and mother in-laws, Fred and Robin Harrison and Terry and Kathy Harrison all of Louisiana, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father Mike Rue on July 17, 1988, his mother Juanita Rue on April 12, 2007, and a sister, Peggy Tittsworth on November 27, 1994. Ronnie had worked for the City of Louisiana for 30 years with the Water Department and Parks and Cemetery Department. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Louisiana, Missouri. He loved to go fishing, playing bingo and lottery tickets. He was a very hard worker, enjoyed doing his job and helping others, and loved life. Honorary Pallbearers will be sons Trevor Rue and Tannor Rue, and grandsons, Devin Rue, Jacob Rue, Stephen Henderson, and Joey Henderson. Active Pallbearers will be Ryan Rue, Mike Snyder, Junior Smith, Johnny Henderson, Marcus Jones, and Kenny Smith.
