Kolynn Jordan "KJ"

Our precious little angel, Kolynn Jordan “KJ”, born on July 25, 2022, beloved infant son of Ryan and Jessie Griffin went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2023. Kolynn laughed and smiled throughout his seven months of life, bringing joy and happiness to everyone he touched. He was adored by many and all that met him knew the true meaning of love. He gave the best snuggles, had the most infectious smile and loved his family. His favorite toy was his fish tank. He could spend hours watching it. K man enjoyed watching Bulldog basketball whether it be at the games or at home sitting in the recliner with his dad. The saying there is a special bond between a mother and son proved true as Kolynn found the greatest comfort in being in his mama’s arms. Although his time here was brief, Kolynn will live on forever in our hearts. In addition to his parents, and his three amazing big sisters (Sophie, Sawyer, Stella), he is survived by grandparents Sheila Hibbs, Robert and Jennifer Sapp, Tim and Sue Griffin and aunts, uncles and cousins. Each of his sisters had a unique bond with Kolynn that can never be broken. Sophie could get him to smile without fail. Sawyer would be the first one to comfort him when needed and thanks to her is Tik Tok famous. When it came to personal space, Kolynn didn’t know what that was as Stella was always right by his side. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, EMS, social workers and therapists for their incredible care provided to their sweet baby boy throughout his short but fulfilled life. The family appreciates all of the prayers and concerns extended to us during this difficult time. Kolynn may have been born to another, but he was always destined to be a Griffin. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 9th at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, MO. Visitation will also be held from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral service at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, March 10th at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana, MO. Those attending the services are encouraged to wear bright colors as Kolynn was such a shining light to our family. Memorials can be made to the Because I Care Fund at the Marion County Children’s Division.
