Funeral services for Mrs. Janice K. Green, 63, of Louisiana, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 12th at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, Missouri with Brother Tom Hemby officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Green died Monday, November 8, 2010 at the Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri. She was born October 15, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri to Rev. Ed and Mary Hampton. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Ed Hampton. She is survived by 1 daughter, Laura Shellhorse and husband Mark of Bowling Green, Missouri, 1 son, Jarrod Green and wife Tammie of Pleasant Hill, Illinois, 1 granddaughter, Ashley Heigl and husband Robbie of Bowling Green, Missouri, 1 grandson, Brian Shellhorse of Bowling Green, Missouri, 1 great grandson, Lane Shellhorse, and 1 step-granddaughter, Katie Zummwalt of Pleasant Hill, Illinois. Also surviving are her mother, Mary E. Hampton formerly of Louisiana, Missouri, 2 sisters, Mary Ann and husband Charles Roy Anderson of Kearney, Missouri, and Harriet and husband Russell Barber of Louisiana, Missouri, 1 brother, Dr. Kevin Hampton of Savannah, Georgia, 2 nieces, Susan Anderson of Kearney, Missouri and Heather Barber of Louisiana, Missouri, 1 nephew, Charles Anderson of Kearney, Missouri, and 4 great nephews, and 1 great niece. Janice graduated Louisiana High School in 1966. She was a legal secretary for many years and retired as a Call Center Supervisor for Stark Brothers Fulfillment in 1997 due to illness. She was a devoted Christian daughter and mother. She was a member of Dover Baptist Church. Her hobbies included reading, quilting and sewing, and loved animals. She most enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved dearly. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Roy Anderson and Russell Barber. Active Pallbearers will be Jarrod Green, Mark Shellhorse, Brian Shellhorse, Charles Anderson, Tim Booth, and Robbie Heigl.
