Mr. John Cholie “J.C.” Warren, 74, of Clarksville, Missouri passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital West in Chesterfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, Missouri. The Rev. Marvin Davis will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, Missouri, with Military Honors conducted by members of American Legion Post 370 of Louisiana, Mo. J C was born January 20, 1941 in Eolia, Missouri the son of Cholie and Marguerite Robinson Warren. He married Sandra Ann Yates December 22, 1962 at Clarksville, Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Warren of the home, his children, Deirdre Ann Warren, John Cholie Warren, Jr. all of St. Louis, Missouri, Kenneth DeWayne Warren (Terry Louise) of Troy, Missouri, and Dawn Yvonne Warren of St. Louis, Missouri, one grandson; Warren George Lee McFadden of St. Louis, Missouri, three brothers; Lionel Warren, Frank Warren (Daisy) and Wayne Warren all of Clarksville, Missouri and a host of nieces and nephews. J C was preceded in death by his parents, Cholie and Marguerite Warren and a brother, Kenneth Warren. He graduated from the Clopton High School at Clarksville, Missouri in 1959. He had been employed at Holcim Cement Company in Clarksville as a Heavy Equipment Operator until his retirement. J C had also owned and operated “Warren Trucking Company” in Clarksville as well as a Sports Bar named the Eagle’s Lounge for a number of years. He was a veteran serving with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He accepted Jesus as his Saviour a number of years ago. He enjoyed spending time riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and keeping his semi-truck spotless. Honorary pallbearers are; Brian Campbell, Joe Mabry and Calvin Slaughter.
