Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth McDannold, 92, of Louisiana, Missouri will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23rd at the First Baptist Church in Louisiana. The Rev. Ben Teague assisted by The Rev. Jason Hamilton will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m Monday, March 22nd at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana. Mrs. McDannold passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Maple Grove Lodge Nursing Home in Louisiana. Elizabeth was born July 24, 1917 in Bowling Green, Missouri to Carl and May Loux Hallows. She married Archie Gaylord McDannold July 24, 1937 at Bowling Green, Missouri and he preceded her in death April 21, 1988. Elizabeth is survived by three daughter’s; Mrs. Dixie Lee Holland (Jack), Mrs. Sandra Kay Moore (Don) and Mrs. Pamela Ann Ince (Donnie) all of Louisiana, Missouri, Two grandsons; Brian Moore of Louisiana, Missouri and Steve Holland of Ballwin, Missouri, Three granddaughter’s; Kim Stoops and Chris Miller both of Louisiana, Missouri and Ashley Skirvin of Kampsville, Illinois, 9 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, A brother; Kenneth Hallows of Prescott, Arizona, Two half-brothers; Gerald Hallows of the State of Wisconsin and J. D. Hallows of the State of Indiana, Two sisters; Laura Lee Fibranz and Leora Shuford both of the State of Arizona, Half-Sister, Karen Decker of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Two sister-in-laws; June Moore of Independence, Missouri and Jeanne Hallows of Curryville, Missouri and Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister, Jessie May Hallows who died at birth and a brother, James Hallows. Elizabeth graduated from the Louisiana High School in 1935. She had been employed at the J C Penny Store in Louisiana for 17 years, retiring July 29, 1979. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Louisiana since 1939. Elizabeth had been very active in the church, playing the Organ and Piano when needed and as a member of the Choir. She had also been active in the Women’s Missionary Union. Pallbearers are; Brian Moore, Stephen Holland, Jeremy Stoops, Brandon Moore, Michael Stoops and Dalton Branstetter. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church Missionary Fund.
