Connie Chatman, 67, of Louisiana, MO, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana, MO. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the First Presbyterian Church in Louisiana, MO. Pastor Bill Hobbs officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until time of service Saturday at the church. Connie was born on April 7, 1957 in Louisiana, MO to Frank Chatman and Dorothy Mitchell Chatman and has lived in Louisiana her entire life. She is survived by 3 sons, Ryan Chatman, Gemeil Burse (Samantha), and Jason Chatman, a daughter, Angel Steward (Richard), her grandchildren, Richard (Desirae), Rashawn, Taylor, Kylee, Bryson, Peyton, Gracie, Alexis, Virginia, Avery, Serenity, Gemeil Jr., Mercy, Holl, Kinsey, LJ, Landon, Carsyn, Madison, and Jakayla, great grandchildren, Harley, Zymeir, Indy, Colsa, Zayden, and ZaRayeah, 2 brothers, Darrell Chatman (Virginia Starks) and Kevin Chatman (Melanie Chatman), aunt Mary Chatman, uncle Howard Chatman, uncle Roger Chatman, uncle Sam Chatman, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Dorothy Chatman, a brother Tyrone Chatman, and a sister Charlotte McQuay. Connie was a member of the New Jerusalem Church and later attended 1Way Ministry Church. She had worked at Maple Grove Lodge nursing home for 35 plus years. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Enjoyed taking rides by the riverfront and had a love of coffee and popcorn. She always enjoyed checking on her family and friends as well as being known as a mother/grandmother to many others. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Steward, Rashaun Steward, Bryson Chatman, Peyton Chatman, John D. Griffith, Tony Campbell, Wilford “Junior” Moore, Kenneth Pearl, and Dalton Null. Active pallbearers will be Terrell Griffith, Daryl Starks, Brian Starks, DeAndre Griffith, Richard Campbell, Tony Campbell, and Leland Chatman.
