Steven Summers Brown

May 17, 1960 - February 24, 2022

Steven Summers Brown, 61, son of Clarence “Socko” Brown and Dottie Brown-Murray, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 due to ongoing health problems. He was born on May 17, 1960 in St Louis, MO. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, MO followed by a private family graveside service at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Louisiana, MO. He is survived by his mother, Dottie and step-father, John Murray, siblings, Cynthia Brown, Pennye Brown Lentes, Ted Brown, Stacy Brown Grover, and Tim Brown, his children, Tara, Cassidy, Taylor, and Brenden Brown, a granddaughter, Adalynn Jean Biesk, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife, Marsha Love Brown and son Nicholas, his dad Socko, brothers, Jefferson and Christopher Brown, and his second wife, Staci Grover Brown. Steve grew up in Louisiana and attended school here before leaving to pursue other opportunities. Pallbearers will be Justin Burse, Chuck McCormick, Brian McCormick, Neil Anderson, Scott Thomas, and Jerry Crane.
