Mildred "Biny" Cannon

November 7, 1934 - April 13, 2018

Mrs. Mildred “Biny” Cannon, 83, of Clarksville, MO, passed away on April 13, 2018 at the Maple Grove Lodge Nursing Home in Louisiana, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, MO. The Rev. Randall Cone will officiate. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, MO. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 17th at the funeral home. She was born on November 7, 1934 in Louisiana, MO to David Clark Davidson and Sarah Jane Cothron Davidson. She was married to John Eldon Cannon on May 2, 1954 in Clarksville, MO. She is survived by her husband John, a son, Glenn Cannon and wife Lois of Eolia, MO, 2 grandchildren, Glenn David Cannon II and wife Leigh, and Cheryl Rebecca Stodgell and husband Paul, and 4 great grandchildren, David James Denbow, Abigail Faye Denbow, Christopher Stodgell, and Graham Davis Cannon. Mrs. Cannon had been a lifelong resident of Clarksville, MO. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Clarksville, MO. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing Bingo and going fishing. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Guy Traynor, Tommy Hooton, and Frank Omohundro. Active pallbearers will be Frank Warren, Steve Sheppard, Robert Omohundro, Marty Mitchell, Steven Hooton, and Joe Poddig. A luncheon will follow services at the Clarksville Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral home.
