Lois Eugenia Day

Mrs. Lois Eugenia Day, 70, of Bowling Green, Missouri formerly of Clarksville, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Country View Nursing Home in Bowling Green, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Monday, February 9th at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, Missouri. The Rev. Charles Moore will officiate. Visitation will be held from Noon until time of services at 2:00 p. m. Monday, February 9th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Dover Cemetery near Clarksville, Missouri. She was born August 28, 1944 in Louisiana, Missouri the daughter of Harold and Lois Sitton Ralston. She married John Day and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lois Sitton Ralston and her step-mother, Virginia Ralston and step-father, Pete Williams. Lois is survived by two sisters, Bertha “Bert” Niffen of Bowling Green, Missouri and Carolyn Charlton of Louisiana, Missouri, 2 step-sisters, Marie Moore of Louisiana, Missouri and Patsy McAfee of Illinois, step-brother, Bill Suddarth of Louisiana, Missouri and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She had been employed as a Nurses Aid for a number of years. Lois was a member of the Pentecostal Religion. Lois loved to spend time with her family, Fishing, playing Bingo and enjoying her dog “Pookie Day”. Honorary Pallbearers are Nathan Moore, Scott Curry, and James Gregory. Active Pallbearers are Christian Niffen, Dave Minor, Curtis Niffen, Timothy Curry, Andrew Jennings and Dave Stevens.
