Karen Mae Linhardt

September 2, 1948 - January 31, 2022

Karen Mae Clark Linhardt, of Ville Morgon, France, passed away Monday, January 31st, 2022, at the age of 73. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, MO. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 P.M. Saturday at the Eolia Cemetery in Eolia, MO. Karen was born September 2, 1948, in Louisiana, Missouri to Thornton and Ruth Clark. Karen was baptized at an early age in the Eolia, Missouri, Baptist Church. Karen leaves behind her husband, Dr. Ronald Linhardt of Ville Morgon, France. She is survived by sons, Cristopher Perkins of Arlington, Texas (wife Jana), Dreux Linhardt of Montceau, France (wife Priscilia), and grandchildren, Alyssa and Daniel. Karen is also survived by her sister, Marilyn Clark Wheeler and her husband John, nieces, Kimberly Wheeler Ruhr, Susan Wheeler O’Dell, and nephew, Matthew Magee. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Ruth Ann Clark Magee, niece, Janet Lynn Wheeler Dauve, and nephew, James Magee. Karen graduated from Louisiana High School in Louisiana, Missouri. Following a move to Wichita, Kansas, Karen graduated from Wichita State University and began her teaching career at Wichita South High school. Karen loved teaching and it became her lifelong career. Karen taught English as a second language for many years while living in France. Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, MO in charge of local arrangements.
