Mrs. Alma Joyce Walker, 77, of Louisiana, Missouri passed away at her home in Louisiana, Thursday, March 17,2016. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. The Rev. Randall Cone will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 23rd at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana. She was born October 4, 1938 in Louisiana, Missouri the daughter of Kenneth and Arleta Lain Kennedy. She married Richard W. Walker on April 23, 1960 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Louisiana. He preceded her in death August 13, 2013. She is survived by three sons; Andrew K. Walker (Patty) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Marty R. Walker (Amanda) of Tucson, Arizona and Daren Walker (Stephanie) of Bowling Green, Missouri, 6 Grandchildren; Stephen Walker of Winston Salem, NC, Zachary Walker and Kayleigh Walker both of Tucson, AZ., Austin Walker, Alivia Walker and Aiden Walker all of Bowling Green, Missouri, 1 Great Granddaughter; Faith Walker of Silver City, New Mexico and 3 brothers; Tom Kennedy of Troy, Missouri, Todd Kennedy and Roger Kennedy both of Louisiana, Missouri. Joyce graduated from the Louisiana High School in 1956. She had been employed as a Telephone Operator in Louisiana for a number of years. She was later employed at Lynn’s Heritage House and for Stark Bro’s Nursery for a short time before retiring. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
