Funeral services for Jennifer Malene (Niffen) Lehenbauer, 47, of Bowling Green, M0 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, Missouri. The Rev. Larry Chappell will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in rural Bowling Green, Missouri. Jennifer went to be with our Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Jennifer died due to complications from stage 4 colon cancer. Jennifer was born July 5, 1968 in Louisiana, Missouri to Glenn Delbert Niffen I and Anita Irene (Welch) Niffen of Bowling Green, Missouri. Jennifer is survived by her parents, a son, Brandon Michael Niffen and friend, Carol Cochran of St. Charles, M0; two grandsons; Adien Jackson Niffen, and Landon Matthew Niffen, a sister, Kimberly Dalene Niffen of Bowling Green, M0, two brothers, Glenn Delbert Niffen II of Bowling Green, M0 and Jeffrey Lynn Niffen (Stacy) of Quincy, IL, nieces, Jenna Irene Niffen, Ashley Nicole Niffen and Megan Lynn Niffen all of Bowling Green, M0, one nephew, Glenn Delbert Niffen III (Patricia) of Bowling Green, M0. She was Aunt GiGi to her great nieces and nephews, Hunter Dayne Niffen, Daylin Alvin Niffen and Brandy Michelle Akins all of Bowling Green, M0. She is also survived by many extended family members including aunts, uncles and cousins. Jennifer was preceded in death by maternal grandparents; Robert Lewis Welch, Sr. and Nellie Annie Irene (Adams) Welch and paternal grandparents, Virgil Harold Niffen and Maggie Eudora (Chandler) Niffen and by a sister, Margaret Irene Niffen. Jennifer was a 1986 graduate of Louisiana High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from Missouri Baptist University. She was employed as a Housing Specialist with NECAC, She took great pride in her ability to help those less fortunate than she. Jennifer was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Bowling Green, M0. Pallbearers will be Glenn D. Niffen III, Jeffrey Niffen, Nick Wright, Brandon Niffen, Joe Niffen, Ryan Null, Robert Welch III, Robert Welch IV, and Bryan Wright. Memorials may be given to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund or the American Cancer Society.
