Gary L. Branham, 70, of Louisiana, MO, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 in Hannibal, MO. A Celebration of Life will be held at the ELKS Lodge in Louisiana, MO on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Gary was born on September 24, 1951 to Roy Branham and Lillian Mae Speaks Branham. He was married to Barbara Artus Smith on July 10, 1999 in Louisiana, MO. She preceded him in death on June 19, 2016. He is survived by a niece, Jennifer Johnson of Hannibal, MO, and additional family members, Kelly and Jim Akers of Clayton, NC, Mark Smith of Clarksville, MO, C.R. Akers of Clayton, NC, and Alex Smith of Marina del Ray, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Joyce Johnson and Barbara Harris, and a brother, Donald Gene Keating. Gary was a graduate of Louisiana High School. He was a Member of the ELKS Lodge in Louisiana, MO. He was employed for the railroad and later at Hercules, Inc. in Louisiana, MO until his retirement. In his early years he liked to go fishing and hunting. He was an avid musician, enjoyed reading books, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
