Mr. Edgar Allen Gentry, 74, of Louisiana, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana, Missouri. His desire was to be cremated and services will be held at a later date. He was born on October 31, 1941 in Pana, Illinois to William and Ruth Ann Oliver Gentry. He married Louella Kay Hagaman on June 3, 1994 in Springfield, Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Louella Gentry of the home, 2 sons, Jason Hagaman of Louisiana, Missouri, and Shannon Gentry of New Canton, Illinois, a daughter, Stephanie Hagaman of Louisiana, Missouri, 6 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, and a sister, Vickie Nation of Springfield, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Phillip Gentry, William R. Gentry, Jr., and Jonathon Gentry. He had been employed as a machinist for John W. Hobbs Auto Parts Manufacturing Company in Springfield, Illinois. Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, MO was in charge of arrangements.
