June 18, 1928 - February 13, 2015

Mrs. Eugenia Darlene Epperson, 86, of Louisiana, Missouri passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at her home in Louisiana. Her desire was to be cremated. Private interment services will be held at a later date. She was born June 18, 1928 in Barry, Illinois the daughter of Lewis and Marjorie Clinging Winner. She married Robert C. Reed and to this union was born two sons: Robert Clarence Reed, Jr. and wife (Betty) of Frankford, Missouri and Jerry L. Reed and wife (Janet) of Louisiana, Missouri who survive. She is also survived by a step-son, Mark Epperson and two step- daughters, Carla and Lynn and by 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one sister; Willene Edwards of Louisiana, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James “Buddy” Epperson, one sister; Virginia Smith, a grandson, Christopher Reed and a step-son; Mike Epperson. Darlene had been employed as a Secretary at Louisiana Plastics Company in Louisiana for a number of years. She was a veteran serving with the United States Army. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Memorials may be given to the American Lung Association in care of Collier Funeral Homes, Inc., 117 Barnard Drive, Louisiana, M0 63353
