Anthony "Tony" Yokem

Mr. Anthony Neal “Tony” Yokem, 46, of Louisiana, Missouri passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 in Quincy, Illinois. He was born June 21, 1967 in Pittsfield, Illinois the son of Gary and Beverly Skirvin Yokem. He married Carla Lynn Harrison July 7, 1990 at the First Christian Church in Louisiana, Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Carla Yokem of Louisiana, Missouri, his mother, Beverly Skirvin Yokem of Quincy, Illinois, his father; Gary Yokem of Pleasant Hill, Illinois, two daughters; Rebecca Lawson of Louisiana, Missouri and Carly Yokem of Santa Rosa, California, one son; Clayton Yokem of Nashville, Tennessee, 5 grandchildren; Steven Harrison and Katelynn Harrison both of Louisiana, Missouri, Keaton Yokem of Nashville, Tennessee, Brylynn Warren and Brenna Warren both of Santa Rosa, California, two sisters and one brother. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vinton and Frances Skirvin, a granddaughter, Hailey Harrison and aunts and uncles. Tony graduated from the Pleasant Hill High School at Pleasant Hill, Illinois in 1985. He had been employed as a Foreman for Towsend Tree Service of Troy, Missouri for about 15 years. Tony loved spending time with his family and was an avid Mushroom Hunter, Fisherman and Camper. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, Missouri. The Rev. Mark Sheppard will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p. m. Tuesday, March 25th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana, Missouri. Honorary pallbearers are; Roosevelt Blair, John Warren, Dennis Roberts, Morris Lawson, Shane Elliott and Terry Hall. Active pallbearers are; Ross Harrison II, Craig Skirvin, Jason Huggart, Greg Nulsen, Junior Moore and Steven Cloninger.
