Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra Gail Reed, 79, of Louisiana, Missouri will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 26th at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, Missouri. The Rev. Randall Cone will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana, Missouri. Mrs. Reed died Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the Maple Grove Lodge Nursing Home in Louisiana, Missouri. Sandra was born on October 4, 1927, to Mayme Elder Bruch and Frederick Bruch in Louisiana, Missouri. Sandra married Clarence Reed on March 24, 1951 and he survives. She is survived by a son, Patrick Reed, of Charlottesville, VA and a daughter, Ellen Reed of St. Louis, Missouri. Sandra is also survived by the following grandchildren and their respective spouses and partners: Jessica Woodward and Joshua Woodward both of Columbia, Missouri, Jacob Woodward and Molly Woodward of Quincy, IL, Caleb Woodward of Bloomington, IN, Karen Reed Snyder, Heather Reed and Galen Reed all of Charlottesville, VA, Morgan Reed Hultman of Farmville, VA, and Jennifer Schiffhaeuer of Porter, TX. and by three great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Allyson Woodward of Columbia, M0 and Joey Hultman of Farmville, VA. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister and brother-in-law, Helena Bruch and Francis "Tanky" Murphy, her brother, Frederick "Buddy" Bruch, Jr. and her beloved nephew, Francis "Butch" Bruch. Sandra was employed as manager of customer service at Stark Brother's Nursery in Louisiana for many years. Sandra was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church in Louisiana, serving as Clerk of Session and Elder, and as Senior High Youth Leader. She was also active in Great Books, the board of the Louisiana Public Library, as president and member of the local PTA, as a leader for both Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. Pallbearers are; Joshua Woodward, Jacob Woodward, Caleb Woodward, George Woodward, Jake Houston and Adam Smith.
