Rose Marie Webb

Mrs. Rose Marie Webb, 82, of Paynesville, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Elsberry Health Care Center in Elsberry, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, Missouri with the Rev. Terrance Small officiating. Military Honor’s will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. by members of the Ladies Auxillary Post 4610 of Clarksville, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, Missouri. She was born June 14, 1933 in Paynesville, Missouri the daughter of Guy and Oneida Wolfe Scott. She married Lawrence Webb December 24, 1952 in Louisiana, Missouri and he preceded her in death August 18, 2005. Rose is survived by one son; Larry Webb, (Cheryl), one daughter, Yvette Webb, a step-daughter, Louise Turner,(Alan) all of Elsberry, Missouri, one grandson, Larry D. Webb, Jr. of St. Charles, Missouri, two step-grandchildren; Mona Turner and Alan Turner both of Elsberry, Missouri, two brothers, Robert Scott of Clarksville, Missouri and Guy Lynn Scott of Bowling Green, Missouri, Mother-In-Law, Lula Bell Webb of Louisiana, Missouri, Brother In-Law, Alphonso Webb of Paynesville, Missouri, Sister-In-Law, Joyce Chambers (Lee) of Denver, Colorado, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Oneida Wolfe Scott and a brother, James Scott who died in December of 1992. She graduated from the Lincoln High School in Louisiana in 1950. She had been employed as a Seamstress for the Kamp Togs Garment Company in Clarksville, Missouri and later for the Bobbie Long Garment Company in Elsberry, Missouri. She was a long time member of the Bethel AME Church in Paynesville, Missouri and a member of the VFW Post 4610 Ladies Auxillary and American Legion Post 349 both in Clarksville, Missouri. Pallbearers will be Kevin Scott, Frank Raspberry, Chris Redd, Ronnie Redd, Craig McPike, and Eddie Wheeler.
