Funeral services for Mr. Robert Carl “Bud” Fritz, Sr., 81, of Louisiana, Missouri will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8th at Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. The Rev. Randall Cone will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 7th at the funeral home. Members of Perservance Lodge #92 AF & AM will conduct Masonic services at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana with Military Honors by American Legion Post 370. Mr. Fritz passed away Friday, July 3, 2009 at his home in Louisiana. He was born May 30, 1928 in Louisiana, Missouri to John H. Fritz, Sr. and Eliza Gauf Fritz. He married Gussie May Wright, May 7, 1954 at the First Presbyterian Church in Louisiana. He is survived by his wife, Gussie May Fritz of the home, One son, Robert C. Fritz, Jr. of Bowling Green, Missouri, Four daughters, Marie Henderson (Claudie) of Louisiana, Missouri, Carolyn Wommack (Roger) of Elsberry, Missouri, Jan Collard (Tim) of Harrisburg, Missouri and Betty Kemry (Buddy) of Louisiana, Missouri, 11 grandsons, 5 granddaughters, 6 great grandchildren and one sister, Katherine Magee of Louisiana, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Betty Murr and Frances Breen and a brother, John Fritz, Jr. Bud had been employed as an Electrician with IBEW Local 350 of Hannibal, Missouri until his retirement in 1988, He was a veteran serving with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He had been active in the community serving as a Council Member for almost 30 years. He was a 49 year member of Masonic Lodge #92 in Louisiana and a member of the Royal Arch Lodge in Hannibal, Missouri. A member of American Legion Post 370 in Louisiana. Honorary pallbearers are; PFC Lloyd Kemry, III, Chris Fritz, Justin Fritz, Nick Fritz and Tim Meyer. Active pallbearers are; Chad Collard, Adam Henderson, Justin Wommack, Daneal Wommack, Jeff Wommack and Jaris Wommack.
