Peggy Phillips

Mrs. Peggy Rose Phillips, 79, of Louisiana, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Lynn’s Heritage House in Louisiana where she was a resident. Funeral services will be held at l:00 p.m. Thursday, April 29th at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. Mrs. Ruth Shumaker will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 28th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Jordan-Buffalo Cemetery near Louisiana. She was born February 7, 1931 in Louisiana, Missouri to Bill and Bessie Crook Chapman. Peggy is survived by her ex-husband, Charles Phillips of Louisiana, Missouri, Three daughters; Rosemary Conrow and husband, Terry of Bowling Green, Missouri, Janice Askey and husband, Mike of Brunswick, Missouri and Karen Phillips of Louisiana, Missouri, Two sons; Kenneth Phillips and wife, Jeannie of Hope, Kansas and Charles Edward Phillips of Grain Valley, Missouri and a step-son, Charles Wesley Phillips and wife, Doris of Northfork, Missouri, Seven grandchildren; Terry Joe Conrow and wife, Tabbie of Bowling Green, Missouri, Shelly Rios and fiancé, Joe Shade of Bowling Green, Missouri, Eric Askey and wife, Shawn of Vandalia, Missouri, Misty Duff and Husband, Kenneth of Keytesville, Missouri, Crystal Jo Phillips of the State of Kansas, Christopher Lee Phillips of Hannibal, Missouri, David Glenn Phillips and wife, Tammy of Tom Bean, Texas, 16 Great Grandchildren, 1 Gt. Gt. Grandson and Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, One sister, Elsie Craigo, Two brothers, Bob Lee and Fred Lee, Jr. and a great-granddaughter, Markie Michele Shade. Peggy had been employed at Nord-Buffum Button Factory for a while, later working at Stark Brothers, Nursey in Louisiana for a few years then as a cook at several restaurant’s in Bowling Green, Missouri and at Louisiana Plastics where she was a Machine Operator until her retirement. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith. Pallbearers are; Terry Joe Conrow, Eric Askey, Kenneth Duff, Joe Shade, Christopher Phillips and David Minor.
