Lucy Convy Sheppard, 78, of Louisiana, MO, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 19th at the Keely Center, 3523 Georgia St., Louisiana, MO 63353. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 20th at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church, 401 S. Lindbergh Blvd., Frontenac, MO 63131 with visitation from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at the church and everyone is encouraged to wear pink or green. Lucy was born on August 31, 1946 in St. Louis, MO to George John Convy and Lucy Dial Convy. She was married to William Wilson Sheppard Jr on March 2, 1973 in St. Louis, MO. She is survived by her husband William “Billy” Sheppard Jr of Louisiana, MO, a son William “Shep” Wilson Sheppard III (Tonya) of Louisiana, MO, a daughter Kelly Sheppard Brennick (Brandon) of Denver, CO, 5 grandchildren William “Will” Wilson Sheppard IV, Brady Joseph Sheppard, and Halle Rebecca Sheppard all of Louisiana, MO, and Andrew Michael Brennick and Piper Convy Brennick both of Denver, CO, 3 brothers George Curran Convy (Mary Lou), Michael Curran Convy (Lucie), and Timothy Curran Convy (Kate) all of St. Louis, MO, 2 sisters Susan Convy Buescher and Ellen Convy Hennessey (Jack) both of St. Louis, MO, and 7 nieces & 10 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Lucy Convy. Lucy was a graduate of Villa Duchesne School in 1964 and attended Sienna College in Memphis, TN. She has been a resident of Louisiana, MO for 52 years. She was a volunteer for the Louisiana School district and PTA member, a member of the Louisiana PEO, the Junior League of St. Louis, and was a volunteer of Fleur-de-Lis organization in St. Louis. She was on the board of directors for Cardinal Newman College and was closely involved with the workings of Pike Grain Company, Inc.
