Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Roger McBryer, 63, of Bowling Green, Missouri will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14th at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, Missouri. The Rev. Gary Greene will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 13th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana, Missouri. Mr. McBryer died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri. He was born August 19, 1943 in Albertville, Alabama to Benjamin Lorenzo Dow McBryer and Fannie Inez Webb McBryer. He married Joanne Murry Hays October 11, 1978 in Hernando, Mississippi and she survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Cynthia Rena Pruitt and husband, Danny of Suffolk, Virginia, Ramona Joyce McBryer of Cocoa, Florida and Deborah Ann McNear and husband, Ray of La Grange, Kentucky, Three step-sons, Rick Hays and Rodney Hays and wife, Carol all of Bowling Green, Missouri and Randy Hays and wife, Christina of St. Roberts, Missouri, 13 grandchildren, one brother, Olan McBryer of Grove Oak, Alabama, one sister in-law, Marie McBryer of Binemont, Alabama and Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Lorenzo Dow McBryer who died August 26, 1997, his mother, Fannie Inez Webb McBryer who died May 22, 2006. One sibling, Brenda McBryer who died in infancy September 16, 1945, One sister, Ruby Burns who died September 25, 1995, one brother, Nolan McBryer who died May 25, 2003 and a brother in-law, Fred Burns who died November 19, 2006. Jerry had been employed as a heavy equipment operator for Fred Weber Construction Company in St. Louis, Missouri until his retirement in 2005. He was a member of the Morning Star Fellowship Church in Bowling Green, Missouri and a member of Operating Engineers Local 513 in St. Louis, Missouri. Pallbearers are; Gary Chamberlain, David Hager, Bill King, David Land, Ken Mitchell and Earl Wayne Smith.
