Bobby Ann Hopke

Bobby Ann Hopke, 76, of Bowling Green, formerly of Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Maple Grove Lodge in Louisiana. Funeral services for Bobby will be held Monday, July 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Louisiana with Bob Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Elsberry City Cemetery. Visitation for Bobby will be Monday, July 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Church. Bobby was born July 17, 1945 in Elsberry, Missouri to Robert and Mary (Calnan) Segress. She was united in marriage to Cleo (Junior) Hopke Jr. on November 12, 2005 at the First Christian Church in Louisiana. Junior survives. Also surviving are son, Jerry (Angela) Shelton; daughters, Tammy (Larry Coy) Boedeker and Zabrina (Greg Nulsen) Myers; step-daughter, Kelly (Brian) Bolte; grandchildren: Ashley Zerrer (Eric) McWhinnie, Erika Zerrer (David) Mejia, Heather Zerrer (Jason) Monteleone, Stephen Boedeker, Tamara Crawford, Stephanie Crawford, Cash Nulsen, Ivy Nulsen, Forby Nulsen, Stephanie Mourino, and Sarah Bucher; great-grandchildren: Blake McWhinnie, Brooklyn McWhinnie, Gabe Monteleone, Henry Monteleone, Rylie Lynn Monteleone, and Elizabeth Bucher; and special cousin, Bob Martin. Preceding Bobby in death were her parents; and a step-daughter, Katie Sisson. Bobby lived in Elsberry for the first 22 years of her life. After that time, she spent the rest of her life in Pike County. Bobby was a life-long member of the First Christian Church of Louisiana. She worked for over 28 years at the Dairy Queen in Louisiana. Bobby has also been employed at Stark Bros. in her younger years, IGA, and had also waitressed at several different restaurants over her lifetime. Bobby enjoyed bowling, belonging on several leagues over her lifetime. She also enjoyed reading, watching game shows, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. Bobby loved spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them. Bobby always had a smile, and was a joy for everyone to spend time with. She was a wonderful lady, whom will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her. Pallbearers will be Carroll Schnitzer, Larry Wilfong, Larry Coy, Dennis DeWeese, Virgil Beer, and Russell Stephens. Honorary pallbearers will be Melody DeWeese, Nancy Wilfong, Paula Schnitzer, Cathy Colbert, Tracy Lenz, Mike Lenz, and Janice Slominsky.
