Funeral services for Mr. Albert Marion Harrison, Sr., 87, of Annada, Missouri will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 29th at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, Missouri. The Rev. Eloise Slaughter assisted by The Rev. Brad Motter will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. Monday, April 28th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Elsberry City Cemetery in Elsberry, Missouri. Mr. Harrison died Sunday, April 27, 2008 at the Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana, Missouri. He was born August 9, 1920 in Hannibal, Missouri to George and Margaret Morgan Harrison. He married Dorothy May Smith on July 17, 1953 at Alton, Illinois and she preceded him in death November 20, 2003. He is survived by six daughters, Sue Cottrell and husband, Glen of Louisiana, Missouri, Carol Lee and husband, Bob of Louisiana, Missouri, Beckey Heusted and husband, Jerry of Hannibal, Missouri, Debbie White and husband, Gene of Annada, Missouri, Donna Rouse and husband, Hank of Douglas, Wyoming and Linda Parrish and husband, Scott of Whiteside, Missouri, Three sons: Bill Harrison of Annada, Missouri, Donald Harrison and wife, Lorrie of Eolia, Missouri and J. R. Harrison and wife, Tracey of Odessa, Texas, 26 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, One brother, James William Harrison of Hannibal, Missouri and two sisters; Frances Painter of Louisiana, Missouri and Ruthie Friese of St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Everett Harrison and Charles Harrison and three sisters, Pauline Furlano, Betty Winn and Marie Smith. He had been employed as a carpenter all of his life and was a member of Carpenters Local # 73 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a veteran serving with the United States Army Air Corp in World War II. In his past time he enjoyed Fishing and working in his work shop on many different projects. Honorary pallbearers are; Ron Gilmore and Freddie Turner. Active pallbearers are; Glen Cottrell, Scott Parrish, Gene White, Bob Lee, Hank Rouse and Carl Harrison.
